These days, when we look around, we see so many 'distractions' that
have been invented by the devil to erase the thought of eternity from
one's mind; and the devil has succeeded in luring a lot into a state of
complacency. But, whether we like it or not, there's life after here!
infact the number of years a man spend here on earth, is nothing
compared to what eternity is! Eternity is an infinite or endless time!
There are two destinations in Eternity; Heaven OR Hell! The kind of life
we live here will determine where our final destination will be! WHERE
WILL WE SPEND ETERNITY?
No matter the amount of wealth amassed
here on earth, it cannot help in making a choice for one's final abode
in eternity! Being rich or poor is not a determinant for where one will
spend eternity! Where we will spend
eternity is decided by whether or not we accept the gift of salvation
offered by JESUS CHRIST. If we do, then we are privileged to spend
eternity forever in the presence of God in Heaven. If we do not, then we
are forever apart from God, in Hell forever and ever, without end! Hell
is so terrible: there will be continual weeping, wailing, and gnashing
of teeth. Those who go there will be cast into the lake of fire and
brimstone and they shall be tormented day and night forever and ever"
(Revelation 20:10). The person who ends up in Hell will only have
himself/herself to blame. Heaven is a holy place filled with so much
glory, no death, sickness, pain, boredom, nor weeping there, its joy
forever more; but sin can never enter there. The contrast of these two
places is unimaginable! Knowing this: Where do you want to spend
eternity?

My dear brothers/sisters, If Christ comes now, do we
know for certain, without any iota of doubt, that we would go to Heaven?
Are we living a life of Holiness according to the standards of the
Bible? Have our garments not been soiled with sin? It is not about what
"seems right" to us, but what the Bible says! We will not have a second
chance on the day of Judgment to make things right; we just have to get
it right now! Matthew 7:13,14 says: "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for
wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction,
and MANY THERE BE WHICH GO IN THEREAT: Because strait is the gate, and
narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW THERE BE THAT FIND
IT". Beloved, are we among the MANY who are on the broad way OR among
the FEW who has found and walking on the narrow way? Are we prepared to
meet our God?
