Be Responsible

I was travelling in a bus of recent and their was a woman sitting in front of me, the woman threw something through the window into the street, I told the woman that, if I happen to be in power I would have prosecute her for doing such barbaric act. And guess the next thing... She turn it into an hot argument trying to defend her shameful act and shifting the blame on...


Its a pity that this is how many of us do everyday towards our environment harassing our environment, even some areas are not better than refuse hill, we just dispose. Anything, anywhere, anyhow and anytime. Many are fond of eat 'n' drop habit, I just wonder why you in your right state of mind will use a sachet water then drop it anywhere and many more even to the food items, petroleum product waste, to make it worst human waste. 


Why are people doing this?
Many are not responsible! yes,many think its the government that is responsible for taking care of the environment and the forget that it is only a responsible citizen that will produce a responsible leader, in as much that the citizen can't take care of their environment, how can they take care of it when the become the leader? There is a guy that I know, nothing is good to him, is always complaining about the environment comparing it to some European countries and his never ready to do anything to change it to the extent that the road to his house is always dirty, waiting for the government to come and clean it for him. 

Have being study this guy for long anytime you try to talk him out of his "stupid mentality" he never loose any argument! And during the last sanitation day he was no where to be found, I was so pissed that how could you be talking against something and you got a chance to change it and you are no where to be found. I got this to share about him, I write it for him (Dayo) 

Are you mad
Tell me you are not mad
 Because I think you are mad
A person in is mind
Will not do this even if his blind
You envy other
But to do it its harder
Even if you go there
You will still be deported back here
Charity begins from home
Responsibility you have to owe
You want your place clean
Yet you can't pick a pin
When it comes to sanitation
You are always on hibernation
You said its the work of the leader
Time to select leader you are eager
Only a responsible citizen will produce a responsible leader
Want everything to change
When you can't even be the change
you love to complain
And to act you refrain
What are you DAYO

I think taking responsibility is the only thing that can change this situation and being the change.
